Hi sorry.....how do you attach an image to the post on here? There doesn’t appear to be an option? Thanks
Edit: just found the option on the PC version - my mobile didn't support it? I'll have to email the image first then attach to the post from my PC?

I'll have to email the image first then attach to the post from my PC? You should be able to attach it, but I prefer a hosting service. I'm still looking for a good one myself. I used to have a photobucket account but since that company went to a subscription service it watermarked all my old pictures and won't let me access them without paying. |

Hello! Posting a picture is always a good idea. I'm afraid there are a ton of Chap Mei bootlegs out there and your variant may well be one of them. That said, I myself have been out of the loop for quite a while and couldn't tell you if you have a relatively new repaint or something else entirely. So yeah, I always reccoment posting a picture! Click on one of my recent pictures and it will take you to the website. In the middle you will see an option to upload your picture. You can do this anonimously, no registration. Once that is completed you will go to a page with a series of links. Choose 'forum hotlink' and paste that url in your message here. That should do it. Good luck! |

Hoardar might work as an image holder. Just need to get the link to the actual image and use the image bb code. Or click the little picture icon in the full editor. Horadar is like a social media platform for collectors. It's not bad and not as intrusive as Facebook. I have a small collection hosted there hoardar.com/u/TheArchivist/chapmei |

Hi, I'm new to the forum so hello. I collect toy figures and have a few Chap Mei in my collection. I have come across a Wild Quest Wild Boar Max figure I believe. The mold looks identical. He doesn't have the bandeira across his chest. What is interesting is his paint scheme. His hat is painted red/orange and not the standard grey. Both legs and arms have not been painted at all. All the detail is there, just not painted. Therefore his legs are green including his boots, medical pack, lasso belt and buckle. His arms are flesh colour including his wrist bracelets and water hip flask. His chest is a stronger flesh colour than his face or arms and the tooth chain is simply painted the same flesh colour. All the images I have found online portray him in his true colours. I can't find any which look like mine. Do I have a rare variant or something? Could you provide me with some help and advice on him? Much appreciated and I can upload a picture too if this helps. Many thanks! i havent been on much in awhile, really for like the last decade i havent been on any toy sites much because there just doesnt seem to be much going on anywhere for 3 3/4 which is the only thing i collect. since Big Lots stopped carrying Chap Mei years ago then Toys R Us closed down so there has been no real need to get on Chap Mei forums as nothing seems available any more, i have no idea if they are even making ANYTHING any more. like wise GIJoe has been dead for years in this scale, Star Wars is barely releasing anything and generally only stuff from new properties i do not care about. and in general most stuff that it coming out is retro style which i can not stand, bad sculpts and bad articulation done on purpose i dont get it. so the last several years rather than collecting i have just been trying to get a nice display room set up for what i already have. but since the lockdowns shipping prices have been crazy and both glass and plexiglass prices have been super high which is stopping me from building my own display cases which is what i want to do.
