Excellent find. I'm sure many US collectors will jump at the chance to get that Mega T. Not to mention the tree playset, which is excellent as well. Thank you for posting!

Add yet anoher Iron Boss repaint to the roster, because this great repaint was spotted in the UK. It appears to be distributed alongside Dino Valley III figures.

I can recommend looking at Chad Valley as they often distribute Chap Mei boxes in the UK. The same is true for the UK's Early Learning Centre. They often have rebranded Chap Mei product in stock. If that fails, I've seen repackaged Chap Mei show up at Sainsbury's too. You might also want to google 'Lontic' as I believe that's yet another Chap Mei distributor. Hope this helps!

Looks like Dino Valley 5 is being advertised on Chap Mei's own site now. I spotted this commercial: www.chapmei.com/?p=641Highlights include a new big Carnotaurus sculpt, a new base compound, a feathered raptor (!!) and a host of new human figures!! I'm most excited about the prospect of new humans but I have to say that feathered raptor looked amazing. Check it out if you can! I'll keep looking for catalogue shots to pop up for this. Most likely, I expect Toys R Us to pick up several of these items for their Animal Planet lines, as well.

Freaking love this toy line. Sadly it's extremly rare to find Dino Valley figures (at least here in Italy)...if you guys know where I can find more sets I will really appreciate your help. Can't find any site who's selling Dino Valley 5 neither...what a shame.
ps: sorry for my bad english...

This Attack Play set comes with the Dino Valley Therizinosaurus which only came with this set. A blue and hot pink version was released at Toys R Us as a small play set with two other dinosaurs and bio card. I'm actually shocked Chap Mei came out with such an odd dinosaur. It was originally discovered in China so that may account for something. As far as I know Chap Mei is the only toy company to come out with a Therizineosaurus. This figure features leg articulation and when you press the button on its back the arms swing wildly back and forth. Their is no neck or head movement whatsoever. The sculpting is rather interesting with long curved claws, some of which are broken off at the tip. The figure also has a mane that runs down the neck like a horse. This is a little creative ingenuity on Chap Mei's part. As far as the rest of the body goes it is pretty accurate to what this creature actually looked like. Even the short tail is correct as these animals did possess a rather short tail in life. The paint coloration looks great on this figure light tans, browns and a little pink around the eyes and mouth. Much better in fact then the Animal Planet version Toys R Us released. Umm, "just like it looked in real life" - that's something we don't know yet. The Therizinosaurus is famous for being, well, mostly unknown. All we have of the animal are the front legs with the giant claws - how the rest of it looked is just speculation. The name literally means "Terrible arms" And if you want a good toy of it, Schleich just made one.

Very happy to share my latest Chap Mei find, this awesome feathered Raptor. This was very high on my list to get, and I found it right here in the Netherlands to boot. Let's hope this means toy stores will be stocking more Chap Mei items for the coming holidays. I haven't unpacked it yet but this is the first image I've seen of it on the net so far.

New addition, this is the second set of the new Dino Valley line. We all know this Ankylosaur from Stone Age dinosaurs, but he certainly wasn't common there so it's a great addition to the line. I also love the new humans. I think this guy is a little better than the adventurer that was included with the feathered Raptor.

The new Dino Valley sets look great, I'd also love to get each one, especially the feathered Raptor! I started noticing the Dino Valley and Dino Quest lines several years ago when I was still pretty cautious about buying too many toys. But last year I cracked and started buying some of the sets that were still available. I really wish I had bought more of the earlier sets such as the Brachiosaurus. Hopefully they'll re-release some one day. Here are the Chap Mei dinosaur playsets I've bought so far. The two large sets are exactly the same inside, but one is in Kmart's own branded box instead. The big red Tyrannosaurus shares first place as my favourite dinosaur toy with the Walking With Dinosaurs 3D Ultimate Gorgon Gorgosaurus. I also love the huge tree playset and I'm looking forward to getting the gate playset, I only wish it came with the Spinosaurus or another dinosaur instead of another red Rex, just so I'd have some variety.

Strolling through the web I found these Chap Mei / Osprey version Dino Valley. The first time I saw, thought to be a "custom". But then I found more pictures. No, it is not a custom. From what I noticed this "version" was released only in France. Has anyone knew or had seen?
