Police versus Bad Guys is a tough line to keep track of. It uses many items that were used in Police Force lines, and underwent a couple of packaging and name changes, too. For one, the second series of this line was labled as 'Police versus tough guys', and also as "SWAT Police" for later releases. It can be a bit confusing, but nevertheless I don't consider these lines to be seperate entities as at the very least they're a continuation of eachother, if not a complete overlap. Here is a catalogue shot of single carded figures from the first series. I found this pic online. Credit to the original poster. It's a shot of the four small sets that were released for the original first line. The second series also saw single carded release though much more limited. These two figures showed up in the United Kingdom with considerable paint differences. Here´s a big set that sold extremely well in my country. The inclusion of the Monster Truck is awesome. It´s a fantastic vehicle! With this set we´re already moving into SWAT Police packaging. I picked up this set for the inclusion of Roaster Head, which is a fantastic figure.

Here are more catalogue shots. These included Swiftblade Bill and his own version of the Ninja: Hero of the Dark skateboard, and a bankvault with blow-away pieces in the second. Here's a medium set, which includes the Bad Guyz' fallout base and a very cool figure of a hostage tied to a chair! I believe this is the only set that particular figure was available in. Here's a particularly huge set which includes an imposing electronic helicopter. I also came across this set. It's a simple repaint of a vehicle that's also been used in Dino Valley and Soldier Force series. It's what Chap Mei does best - repaint their own sculpts to match several different play environments. And, loose shots of two different repaints.

This awesome set was found in South America, I believe. Credit to the original poster for the shots. It's an awesome repaint of the Soldier Force IV plane.

Great news from Saks.ru as it seems that Police vs Bad Guys II gets a re-release, even a continuation with new vehicle repaints that I, at least, haven't seen before! Great new deco on this one man chopper, instantly making it Dreadnok material for the JOE fans among us... And another recolouring of the chopper that was available in police colours in the sets above! With these next sets, at least the configuration is new, if not more. Also haven't seen this gift pack before... Nor have I seen these sets with dirt bikes. And the best news yet: Single carded release for ALL the figures!!!! Including the newest burglar that is included in the new Police Force line, Swiftblade Bill, Roasterhead, and even Captain Hawk, the pilot in police colours, gets a single carded release. I did NOT see this one coming. Bring them on!!

Those are some fantastic retoolings of earlier vehicles, to be sure! I don't think I had ever SEEN that Bad Guyz version of the old Wild Quest jeep before!
Thanks so much for posting!

Thanks for posting these pics Toneguns! I hope Europe will see some new distribution for these as well. I'm still looking for Swiftblade Bill! They have them, but only with the SWAT VAN. I'll be back to that store this week and ask to the seller give a second look at they stock to find a single or two of Swiftblade Bill.
