Hello guys. I cant belive there are people that actually follow work of chap mei. I'v became a fan like 10 years ago or even more when i got my first action figure with all that perfect details and firm structure not like others action figures that were grumpy and slopy with bad color and movement.Since i was unable to collect those couse of economic colaps in my country i only had 5 of them ,but i said ill collect them one day.So that day came and here i am at your forum geting all this great info about collections and bootlegs. Great thing im from serbia and years ago Chap Mei flooded our market without someone to stand beside them ,couse i bet G.I.JOE,Star Wars and all other figures were to expensive for us, couse chap mei wasnt cheap back then to..So im starting my hunt and you'll get informed about my sesion ! Welcome Atanasi! I'm glad you found your way here. It's cool to hear from folks all over Europe what their stores are carrying. I'm looking forward to reading more posts and post pictures if you have them!!

Greetings~ I'm a female collector hailing from Finland. Chap Mei figures are fairly new discovery for me and I happened to stumple upon this forum while I was looking for some information about this blue dragon I found at fleamarket. I also saw the big gargoyle which I'm going get tomorrow. (It better still be there-) I fell in love when I saw the other mythical creature figures and I'm inspired to get more of them for my collection, at least ones which are currently available.
Ugh, I have now idea why this text appears here: (snip)

Your offer to assist with the fantasy line from top toy is really generous if the shipping wasn't soo high that would be really tempting. Can't wait to more of your work

Hello all- I have been collecting action figures for 17 years and I'm a fan of Chap Mei. I am a little surprised there stuff has the following it does as that is normally reserved for things like Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, etc. I did sell off quite a few Chap Mei items in a garage sale about 7 years ago and when I got back into Chap Mei and tried to hunt down certain items again, that's when I learned about the scarcity of a lot of the items and I stumbled upon this forum.

Hi all, I have been a long time gi joe collector and now have been doing custom vehicles. Chap mei has proved to me that quality product does'nt have to come from hasbro. while hasbro is afraid to commit to producing large playsets, Chap me goes for it. they won me over with the c-130 (shark). and the chinook. hope they continue to make the good stuff,

Hi everyone, Cool to see a forum like this.I've kinda just got into the line last year with True Legends stuff that looks great like the Ogre and Darkfire Dragon.I bought the Hydra set as well as the two headed wolves set from TRU and hope to create a Great War display one day with my Castle Greyskull. I'd love for more 6/7" scaled figures but for now these will do fine.I am currently on the hunt for that awesome Cyclops Troll that seems to be dumped on the rest of the world,so I'll let you all know what I find.

Hello everyone, I'm Moya from Australia. I also think it's really cool to find a forum like this! I've been admiring Chap Mei toys from afar each time I had seen them in the shops over the years, but only finally decided to take the plunge and get a few for myself last year. So far I've got some Dino Valley and Animal Planet dinosaur sets, and a big True Legends set with some elves, orcs and tower. I love them so much, and it's been tough for me not to branch out into the pirate line as well, which is so tempting since they'd fit in so well with my Zizzle Pirates of the Caribbean action figures and Black Pearl playset. In fact, it may be too late already, as today I went to my local Kmart and they are finally down to only two pirate sets, the octopus set and the ship playset (which has an opened/damaged box). They went down to $12 and $19 AU respectively around Christmas time and I'm kind of happy to see them sold because I think it's more important for the younger kids to get these things than a big kid like me. I was surprised to see that Kmart had restocked on Dino Valley sets. One is a smaller set with a small Tyrannosaurus, a guy and a tent which is really low quality, and I think it's a bootleg Dino Valley set rather than an authentic Chap Mei one. I think it's $16 or $19. The other set is definitely the genuine article, it includes the big red Rex (which I already have from the treehouse playset) but it comes with a new guy and smaller dinos, and a jeep which I don't have, as well as the big gate playset! I really want this but it's $35 so I'll have to go back when I can afford it or maybe wait for my birthday. I'm also looking forward to Hasbro's Jurassic World figures, which I have been reading about online and may not have any humans in the line, but I would like to combine them with my Chap Mei dinos for playtime.

Hi all, I'm Frank and I collect monster mini figures, cheap fantasy-themed action figures and other weirdo toys. So of course I love Chap Mei stuff. I run the blog LittleWeirdos.net. I came here while searching for info on the Wizard's Magic line. Happy to have found the board.

Hello and welcome everyone! As I write this, the 'Chap Mei Universe' forum is brand spanking NEW and ready to launch. This thread will serve as a members introduction thread. But before I start, let's start with a few words about this forum. I've been collecting for nearly a decade now, ever since it started showing up in the Netherlands and the rest of western Europe. I have a pretty large collection and a lot of information at my disposal in the form of saved pictures for reference. Because if anything, the internet was missing a good central point of reference for Chap Mei collectors. It's not that Chap Mei toys are invisible - on the contrary. I'll wager anybody who's interested in collecting action figures has heard or seen something about Chap Mei figures. a Chap Mei Purist forum. I'm sure we all collect other action figures - I'd be surprised if you didn't, really! - but that's not what I want to read about on this particular forum. Here, I want to read about Chap Mei stuff and only that - because in itself, Chap Mei has created a vast and colourful and spectacularly playable and collectible UNIVERSE of toys which I am madly enthusiastic about, and I want to share my hobby with the rest of the internet.

I started collecting Soldier Force vechiles and soldiers when I turned 6 and got a small tank for my birthday. Since then I only had those smaller green soldiers and I had a pile of sand in our backyard where I played with them (I was 6 alright!). Both the green ones and the Chap Mei ones. But I had so many green soldiers and they were all dirty, I wanted to get rid of them and I asked my mom if she would throw them away when I was on school (I just couldn't do it myself, you know, throwing things away.) But she also threw my large collection of Chap Mei soldiers away. I didn't ask her to throw those ones away aswell. So since then I'm trying to rebuild my old collection and make an bigger one. Now that I am 14 I have every soldier and vechile I had that I had in my old collection except the small tank I got for my birthday and a radar/missle car thing.
Looking for those 2 vechiles I found this forum and I'm still looking for that tank, hoping that the geeks here might know where to find one.
About the tank I was looking for, it was a early year tank. One of the first design they made. But you can know which one it is because it is very unique and much smaller then all the tanks they now sell.
The tank had: -Small size, very small, it was like 2,5 chap mei soldiers long and ½ tall with the cannon on it. -The cannon could be removed and you could place a chap mei soldier in it, however, then you can't place the cannon back on. -The cannon could shoot a projectile. -The tank without the cannon can have the ability to add a cosmetic rocket launcer on it. -It looked like the abrams tank, but then very small.

when i was a kid i owned Nocturna (the four armed goblin looking guy) Slime (orc/ogre looking guy), and some sort of Barbarian (a beast raider perhaps?) that came with the four armed guy. I've been looking for them since.
I want to collect the more Fantasy themed Chap Mei figures and the Stone Age cavemen. If anyone has any they would like to part with I can either pay via paypal or I can trade, though I don't currently have any Chap Mei stuff, I have other action figures/collectible toys. Please PM me if you do have any of these figures.

Hello from France !
I first got intersted in Chap Mei because the figures can eventually fit 1/18 models cars (I've been collecting diecast model cars for almost 30 years now, 1/43 an 1/18, and many other toys. My collection is rather big and original). At last I fell in love with the CM Pirates range one year ago. I gave a pirate ship to my young son for Christmas 2015, and since I've tried to buy everything in the range... Some for him, some for me. I'm also very attracted by the vinkings range, specially the beautiful long ship. Chap Mei is an ecellent brad to custom, as there are many accurate details that appear at their best with a good paint job. I will post pics some day, but I must find how to proceed first.
