You are nuts bro. Luckily you are in good company.
Thanks for the code Archivist. I called a local TRU and they were able to look the item up but didn't have any record of it in their system or any of the stores in the region. Weird because I've seen tons of Darkfire. Each store I've stopped at has 3 or 4 Dragon's on the shelf. If anyone has the Troll or Tree in abundance in their area and wants to help me out, I'd be happy to hook you up with what we have in our Austin/San Antonio stores. Lots of Pirate, Ninja, Olympus and Middle Earth stuff to be had, just no Trolls or Trees. I should probably just be patient...

Uriah - I'd love to, but my money is scarce until next month. But if you don't get a hookup before then, we can work something out.

Thanks man. I'm going to be patient. I'm enjoying messing around with Darkfire and still need to grab a Herc/Hydra set and Warship set anyway. Getting those should keep me busy for a while.

Keep me posted for any new pics of the Tree Creature! I've yet to see that one up close. I'm really impressed with the design if the shot of the backboard was anything to go on.

Forrest Warrior: True Legends Mythical Warriors The Forrest Warrior is a deluxe figure for Toys R Us’ brand True Legends and was released in February 2014. There are no markings that specifically designate who the manufacture is but many of the figures are made from Chap Mei. Height : 20 cm Width : 27 cm Depth : 11 cm POA Count : 5 POA Details : 2 Swivel Shoulders, 2 Opposable fingers, 1 Hinged Jaw Accessory Count : 1 Accessory Details : Giant tree limb The sculpt is more disappointing and not as detailed as most True Legends figures. The face, jaw, and arms have the best detailing but the body is pretty lacking. There is also no back detailing and it was just left as the inverse of the front. The paint is passable as with most True Legends figures it could use a new paint job to bring out the sculpt. There is also 3 peg holes for figures to use to stand on it. Overall it is a pretty great figure and will make an excellent scenery piece due to the unique nature of the figure.

I'm not sold on the Forrest Warrior or the Troll for some reason. I really really liked Darkfire though, and I picked him up earlier this week. I also saw the red orcs and picked up those guys as well. It looks like the most recent 4 packs of orcs will have 2 of the orcs as red now. The red orcs are the one that kind of resembles Gothmog and the one with the tusks on the sides of his helmet.

Awesome pics! That ewok village looks like it would make an awesome home for the elves! I like seeing how Chap Mei figures can fit into other lines. It's cool to see them with your other figures like the Grinch and also Link.

Yes indeed, fun pics! That Grinch figure = nightmare fuel to me for some reason. heh. Thanks for the review. I'm not happy about the hollowness of the figure, but I'll likely pick one up anyway, If I know me. and I do.

There seems to be a new Knights set online at TRU. Its titled True Legends Knights 4 inch Action Figure 4 Pack - King Arthur, Lancelot, Black Knight and Merlin on the website. Has anyone seen these in stores yet?

I like the Merlin figure but i'm not really a fan of Knights. I highly doubt these are Chap Mei though. They don't have nearly the quality of sculpt and they break pretty easily. I've already broken 2 of the knights arms off. They tried adding addition articulation in the form of ball/hinge type shoulders but the plastic used is very brittle. With the exception of the shoulder joint, they really upped the articulation in the knights. They have a basic swivel neck, the ball/hinge shoulders, hinged elbows, a hinge witha plug for hips so they can do forward and back spits as well as out to the side, hinged knees and even swivel wrists.
