These are much better pictures of the previously unknown line Extreme Soldiers, which apparently saw a mix of Beast Raider and Soldier force figures and tried to emulate the Small Soldiers film. This is our best bet as to where Tusk is from originally.   If anyone can shed some more light on this line, the floor is yours. |

Anyone ever run into a red version of Deepklaw? I have recently seen one for sale. Definitely! The red Deepclaw you mean is actually one of four 'Velotrons' that could be found in the Dino Power: Ninjatron line. Practically ALL mounts from Beast Raider got repainted for that line, and Deepclaw was given black, red, blue and green versions. You can look in the miscellaneous section for a few pictures. |

So, if I wanted to split hairs, the red Deep Klaw isn't really from Beast Raider as such although it's the same toy repainted for another line.

I'm pretty stoked, just found me a hurricane. He's missing his top blade, two claws, and tail armour but still looks bad ass. He's one of my favorite chap mei dinos. Pics will come as soon as he is delivered.

 Looks like this picture finally solved the mystery of Tusk. Like I suspected, it was released on an Extreme Soldiers card after all and to the best of my knowledge never on a Beast Raiders card. If you purely look at the sculpt then the figure is a perfect match for Warr and Slime so I will personally always see it as part of the Beast Raiders universe, but it's great to finally see one carded. |
