Stellar Force III
These are my first Chap Mei Stellar Force toys. The box doesn't provide names for either figure. So I will refer to them as Good Cyborg and Bad Cyborg.
Only $3.99 each. Working lights and batteries included.
Good Cyborg.
Bad Cyborg.

The Cyborgs are about a head taller than Lanard's The Corps! figures.
Condor: "I can still kick you @$$!"
Bad Cyborg is a tiny bit taller than Good Cyborg because of the crest on his black helmet which reminds me of Darth Vader.

Good Cyborg features a breathtaking amount of detail. He has a cool looking visor, antennae, wires running down one side of his body, sleek gauntlets and shin pads, huge shoulder pads, and much more. Paintjob is electrifyingly fantastic! Articulation is as follows: head rotates and arms/legs move forward and backward.
Love those wires. They add to the futuristic appearance. Believe it or not, the wires actually don't get much in the way.
Good Cyborg features translucent parts that when placed in front of light GLOW!
Accessories galore!
Each Cyborg comes with a Ride-On Turbo Jet (Glider Wing). That was quite a mouthful. Here is the front of the glider. Turbines rotate.
Here is the glider upside-down. I love how each wheel is of a different color.

Light up feature: Press the button on his belt and the orb on his chest lights up!
Good Cyborg with gun.
That gun has so much custom potential!
The Claw!
Buzz Saw madness!
"It's Luke Skywalker time!" The light saber sword is so freaking cool. Fantastic detail.
The light saber sword is attached to a backpack via a black wire. Seriously, so much awesomeness poured into these toys!
Glider also attaches to figure's back. Looks imposingly badass to say the ultimate least!
He can also ride on top of it!
"It's Green Goblin time!"

Bad Cyborg features a breathtaking amount of detail too. He has a Darth Vader-like helmet, one of his hands is a giant claw, razor sharp shoulder pads, metallic chest armor, and cool metallic mouthpiece coupled with red gleaming sinister eyes! Wires also run down one side of his body. Paintjob is electrifyingly fantastic! Articulation is as follows: Arms/legs move forward and backward.

Bad Cyborg with gun.
That gun is so cool. I see so much post apocalypse potential!
The Claw!
Cool Buzz Saw weapon.

One last thing. Both light saber swords can light up and yes, batteries are included. Another reason to own this set!
Let the battles begin!
I hope you've enjoyed this review. If you see these toys, pick them up. I got mine for $3.99 each and they are among the BEST TOY DEALS I've scored. For only $4 a pop, you get TONS of accessories. These toys will keep children busy for hours. They'll keep us adult collectors busy. They are a lot of fun and super versatile. Till next time.

Here are some sweet single carded specimens of Stellar Force series II! I had never seen these guys single carded before! If anything, it does confirm where these came from. They are a somewhat weird size for Stellar Force - although Stellar Force scale has been all over the place. They also have zero points of articulation, but like other early CM figures they do have vac metalised armour pieces for 'added value'.

Back in 2009, Chap Mei exhibited at the 106th Annual American International Toy Fair, more commonly referred to as the New York Toy Fair. It ran for four days - Sunday, February 15 through Wednesday, February 18 – at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center located on the west side of Manhattan. This was Chap Mei’s first and, regrettably, last time attending this show. Among the many lines displayed at Toy Fair was a revival of Stellar Force, the first spacey Chap Mei line since Space Quest Mission Squad appeared in 2000. The original Stellar Force line, spread out over four distinct series, ran for several years before Space Quest arrived. Stellar Force bounced between a number of concepts and features, and there must have been figures in five different sizes! The new Stellar Force line shown at Toy Fair was, essentially, reissues of earlier figures and vehicles. There were only three different figures. One of the original 4 ¼” space warriors showed up in two color schemes, and two 4 ¾” figures – the ones with the light-up features – also reappeared with different accessory combinations. These latter figures, in the original packaging, popped up briefly at Big Lots! in 2008. Also shown were several new boxed sets containing vehicles. These seem, for the most part, to be the hardware last seen as part of Space Quest. It’s not clear where these vehicles originated. Were they new for Space Quest, or were they part of one of the earlier Stellar Force series? As for the large missile, I have no evidence of such a rocket in any of the earlier space lines, but this weapon might have been lifted from Soldier Force.

Glad to see you're posting on the forum, Starrunn! Your pictures are really very good. And you provide excellent documentation! I don't have nearly as much info on space lines as you do. Well done!
