Even more goodness shows up in this new Legends/Knights series, namely sets that include a brand new sculpted horse as well as a knight. These sets look absolutely fantastic like this! There's so much differece with early Legend of Knights product here, it's amazing to see. The knight's new name is Lucas von Hilstrom! And the sculpt used is Lord Magnus, once again.

The next knight in the knight with horse duo sets is this version, with a great decorative blue heraldry accompanying both the knight and his steed. Loving these sets already!! The name for the knight: Pierre du Fay!The inclusion of properly painted Chap Mei weapons is really a sight for sore eyes with all of these figures.

Another version of Lord Draco from Medieval Kingdom, and the black horse from Legend of Knights, here's another knight/horse pack that looks VERY good indeed! The new name: Gabriel de Zwarte!A proper Dutch name. Looks like most European countries are represented!

Chap Mei's new series of knights actually includes a Templar, as seen with this figure/horse pack here. Outstanding!! The new name for this knight: Templar Gilbert Erail!

One more great addition to Chap Mei's new fantastic line up is this horse/knight set is this outstanding set, just look at that marvellous deco!! The new name: Gerhard von Malberg!Chap Mei is really making the most of these new sculpts, reusing both the horse and the knight for several different characters. I'm also pleased with the addition of the cape for 3 3/4 inch knights. It really works well!

And finally, a fantastic new version of Medieval Kingdom's King Leo II, now with his royal horse repainted in beautiful colours and a matching cape, the armour stands out much better now! The new name: Richard the Lionheart!

There was more on the site that I visited, and since I already have the Orcus repaint in hand I can confirm that ALL of these are official Chap Mei product. They are being put out alongside very similar product that is also brandedas knights, but look a lot less like Chap Mei. Also, ALL of the figures I've shown have original Chap Mei weaponry, the others do not. The packaging of these figures was also different, albeit slightly so. These figures MIGHT be Chap Mei, but I somewhat doubt it.

Thanks for the new Knights pictures. I have been looking for the minotaur for some time now. With its rerelease my chances of finding it are better. The 3 figures pictures in this post are from BBI aka blue Box toys. They are: Dark Lord, ? and Perceval. -Augustus

Looks like these new Chap Mei figures are made to look exactly like Blue Box Toys (the packaging and font is very similar, almost identical) or both lines are picked up by the same distrubutor and offered side by side.

I too was hoping Chap Mei would release a new Knights series to share in the success of the Hobbit. I have some hopes that TRU will sell some in their True Heroes assortment.

I want them all! Anyone able to get a hold of them and ship them to me in the states? I've been brainstorming about getting them to the Netherlands myself. Luckily Germany isn't far away, so they may end up here. What you'd really need is a trade contact in northern Europe, as they're being distributed there. So far, I've seen them on webstores in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland, and a specific region in Germany, but that's it. The cool thing is that these are being carried by Toys R Us in those countries. Although that does not mean that the US branch will eventually pick these up, it's something to hope for at least. Perhaps you can inform what the policy is concerning ordering items from overseas assortments in a TRU near you?
